Sampling Instructions
Collection of ALL sample types should be performed aseptically to minimise the possibility of contamination.
CELL SAMPLES Please supply cells in duplicate. Minimum number of cells required is 2 vials each containing at least 1 x 106 cells. Cells should be spun at approx 12000 rpm for 2 minutes, the supernatant removed and the cell pellet frozen in preparation for shipment.
TISSUE SAMPLES It is recommended that frozen tissue samples are sent.
FAECAL PELLETS It is preferable that 2-3 fresh faecal pellets are collected directly from the animal into an eppendorf tube. Pellets can be frozen in preparation for shipment.
