Cerberus Sciences offers a range of live animal monitoring and disease investigation packages incorporating serology, bacteriology, parasitology and histopathology.

| HMP-BASIC | Please Note – Histopathology is NOT included in the HMP-BASIC package. Health monitoring package for mice combining bacteriology, parasitology and molecular diagnostics. External examination for lesions and ectoparasites (Tape test of pelage). Euthanasia and sample collection for serology if required. Autopsy and description of lesions found. If lesions are present, samples will be taken for further analysis. Nasotracheal wash taken. Nasotracheal wash retained for Mycoplasma PCR if required Bacteriology culture of NT wash (CO2) and caecal contents (Aerobic) for detection of: B.bronchiseptica, Citrobacter rodentium Corynebacterium kutscheri, Klebsiella spp, Pasteurella spp, Pseudomonas spp, Proteus spp, Streptobacillus moniloformis, Staphylococcus (coag +ve), Streptococci (β haem), Streptococcus pneumoniae.
