Primary screening is conducted by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA / EIA) with secondary and confirmatory testing done by indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA).

 

Samples can be submitted as serum, Dried Blood Spot (DBS) or live animals. Survival sampling has enhanced simplicity of quarantine testing of valuable animals, disease outbreak management, sample collection and transportation.
